ISO good restaurant in Manhattan

Dh and me will be spending the day in the BIG APPLE, were looking for a nice place to eat dinner it should not be very expensive though. anywhre in Manhattan. TIA

What do you mean by nice?

Wolf and Lamb is nice and less expensive than the fancier steakhouses, but not cheap.

I haven't been to Milk but I would like to try it, I am sure it is casual but probably fun.

Mike's Bistro is very nice but a bit on the pricey side.

Le Marais is nice.

Do you want meat or dairy? For dairy, we like going to My Most Favorite Food. Meat: Shalom Bombay, Cafe Classico-both nice but not too expensive. Also, what area of Manhattan do you prefer? There are lots of restaurants everywhere!

Thanks ladies. im not sure where exactly in Manhattan. were going for a dr's appt so I figured ill make it a bit happier and spend the whole day there.. all I know is I have to be on madison ave New york, NY 10022
