Title says all. We're on HIP medicaid. This is for a baby, she got a bad cut in her mouth somehow (always on a Shabbos/yomtov!!!!) and our dentist neighbor suggested we have a pediatric dentist check it out ASAP to make sure it's healing OK.

Thanks so much for the reply. We need this to be insured, and five towns is a little too far out for us... but thanks.

IY"H she'll be fine, I think it's probably nothing because it stopped bleeding right away and didn't seem to bother her much, but it looked nasty and deep. Then again, I'm rather squeamish when it comes to my baby! I used to be able to look at anything but now that I'm a mommy I cry every time she bumps herself!

I heard Ezra never takes new patients, but that was when I was looking for myself... Do you know if ODA has pediatric specialists? I prefer to take my baby to someone who specifically deals with babies/kids...

There's a Dr. Seidenfeld on 59th St and 12th Ave (1207 59 or so), who is an excellent pediatric dentist. I am not sure what insurances he accepts.

Well there are tons of pediatric dentists, I am a little confused by what the problem is here, just call any pediatric dentist. Dyou live in Wmsbg? I used a clinic-like dentist on broadway for my special needs child, they were great. Dr waltner stopped taking HIP I think.
