A few years ago, domino sugar had a recipe for old fashioned rice pudding on it's packaging. I used to make it on cold winter mornings and it was YUM!
I tried looking it up online and the recipes on their site are not for that particular one.
Anyone have it?

Thanks for the effort, but those are not the ones I used to make. It was specifically called "old-fashioned rice pudding" and was different than the ones listed there.
I do appreciate you trying.

- 4 1/2 cups milk
- 3/4 cup uncooked long-grained rice
- 1 egg (large)
- 1/2 cup Domino granulated sugar
- 2 teaspoons Vanilla
- 1/2 teaspoon Salt
- cinnamon
Warm the milk in a medium-sized saucepan over medium-low heat. Stir in rice. Bring to a simmer and cook, uncovered, stirring frequently, until the rice is very tender, about 35 minutes. In a medium-sized bowl, whisk together the egg, sugar, vanilla, and salt. Gradually stir in some of the rice mixture until well blended. Return the mixture to the saucepan and stir over medium-low heat for 1 minute to cook the egg. Pour the mixture into 6 custard cups and sprinkle with cinnamon. Refrigerate for 1 hour or until chilled. Yield: 6 servings

lollygirl, this might sound familiar. Where did you get it from?

My book of recipes. I assumed if I wrote specifically domino sugar, this must be it.

In either case I like your recipe since it doesn't contain heavy cream like some others do, so I think I will try it. Thanks!
Just wondering, do you remember taking the recipe from a domino sugar package?
