I would not recomend getting it in Israel. I do not remember the exact price but we paid a small fortune- closer to double of the cost in the states.
if you know someone coming from the states, I would ask them to bring it. they get a free stroller on the flight and its not such a big hassle to bring a stroller. I would not have it sent from the states either because you will probably be taxed a fortune.

In the stores in Yerushalayim they sell for around 2500nis. Online you can get it under 2000 nis. I saw it on yad2, for new for that price.
