Hi,
Firstly, I'm anon because I've been asking around. I'll unmask myself soon, IYH 
I would like to start selling things from home (?) and at boutiques. Can anyone tell me anything, from how much tables usually cost, to how much the tzedaka takes, to how often they occur?
Also, how do you find the boutiques?
Do you work several each season or one or two? What kind of bags do you put your merchandise in?
I'm clearly a beginner. Please help. TIA!!!!

| Before Pesach, Rosh Hashana and Chanukah many shuls have Boutiques where vendors set up their wares and sell them at little tables.

I'm sure the rates for boutiques vary by organization. Some have options for 1/2 tables or other types of discounts.
You need to figure out a lot of things:
How much you want to invest, in total.
How much to invest in inventory.
How much to invest in advertising. (Boutique tables will be considered a subset of advertising.)
How long you intend for it to take for you to break even.
I would HIGHLY recommend that any new business owner read The E-Myth Revisited BEFORE you start your business!
