one of my friends has the most beautiful smile - lovely, radiant, it truly lights up a room
she happens to be an equally lovely person, not really surprisingly
do you think that Hashem is responsible for her having that smile? I mean do you think He controlled her physical appearance in that way - gave it to her?

I b"h got blessed with a beautiful smile as well, I mean that's what everyone tells me
but I am far from pretty, not skinny, etc...
a smile adds a lot to a person, no matter what kind of smile
keep on smiling

If it's simply that her physical smile is very appealing; then of course it's a gift, like any other attractive physical trait.
If her smile lights up her room because she is kind and caring, that is a result of her own character self development.
Is that what you meant?
