Dentist recommendations needed for myself and my kids

I need a new dentist for myself (maybe also an oral surgeon? besides from a cleaning and x-rays, I need to have a cracked tooth taken care of due to a root canal gone awry.)

my kids also need a dentist as well. I looked up pediatric dentists on my insurance and they didn't seem to have any local to me. however, here's a list of some dentists that take my insurance (UFT) and perhaps some people on here have used them for their kids.

I'd appreciate feedback on any of these names! or some names that aren't on here because I'm not typing up the whole list. Thanks!

which insurance do you have? I have UnitedHealthCare (under Oxford) I use Dr. Goerge Lorber in PB. he's great. do you want to travel to BP?

Dr. Mermelstein East 27th I and J. my kids love him.. he's a great dentist.. call for what insurance he takes.
