I really want to get the DVDs my kids loved the clips on the website and I would really love for them to have shows in English they could relate to (with enough Hebrew and concepts they understand from their daily life). Anyhow, it would be $$ to get all the DVD's so which two should I choose?

My two faves so far (and not just because dd is in them!):
Volume 3 Shabbat Shalom Grover
Volume 5 Mitzvah on the Street

We got the 1st one for Chanuka and weren't super impressed- we have the old set that we watched when we were kids and both DH and I thought the new one wasn't as good. Maybe the subsequent ones are better.

We now have:
Welcome to Israel
Shabbat Shalom Grover
The Tu Bshvat one
The Chanukah One

I have pre-ordered the Pesach and Purim ones which are supposed to come this week or next weeK.

My 4.5 years old has picked up a lot of Hebrew vocabulary. We really like them.

I was very unimpressed with the Chanukah one, and amazed at the improvement in the ones I mrntioned above. They are so much more meaningful and well put together.

Which is the old one that has a song about a little boy asking questions, and the answers rhyme?
Ma haeitzim omrim?
Ma oseh ani? Klum. Ani,ani shoel. Stam ani shoel.

From 1995 or earlier.

Nowhere that I know of. I ordered on Ebay.
Why no play this year by the way? Smile

well, the people in charge really needed a break. these plays are so involved, and take so much work. but they are working on the show for next year! haven't decided if I am gonna audition yet....
glad to have a chance to promote my cd though, and started working on my next one! know any songwriters out there who might want to work with me? hey, I should post that.....

Surprised)

Mrs. Canty, right? Excellent! Says my daughter!
