OP here. Thanks for all your wonderful recommendations! I love how Meir Shlomo sounds but only with the israeli pronunciation. Does anyone else feel weird sticking two tanachi names together that have no connection? Not sure why I feel like I want more of a non traditional name with a biblical name.

Ok people the race is on! I've narrowed it down to Adir Shlomo or Matanel Shlomo. Which do you like better? Is Adir weird in America? Dear Adir Smile

I think Adir sounds too weird in an English speaking country. I'm a big believer in parents being sensitive to that. I have a very very difficult to pronounce long name with a ch sound and no English name or English equivalant and it's embarrassing and always a scene whenever someone asks me my name! Matanel is gorgeous and actually on our list, too! It has cute nicknames, too, like Nellie or Mat.
