How long does it take to see if a formula bothers the baby's stomach? After 2 weeks of Neocate hell, dr wanted us to try Similac Sensitive to see if he'll tolerate it better for some reason.
How much time to give?
It's 24 hours and he seems happy, so I was wondering if it's too short a time to tell...

From personal experience. I have seen it right after the first bottle, or even while the kid was at it. Most likely after a full days content, U should be able to see if its agreeing with ur baby's system. Its a tough road... G-luck!

So it's over 48 hours, so far so good.... Is this a good sign?
He literally vomited the Neocate like crazy. Elecare as well....
I hope so....

If the baby didn't react within the first few hours then you're on the right track! I switched formulas when my baby was 5 weeks old and saw that its terrible for him about an hour after he drank the bottle. So ur doing perfectly fine! (The baby)

I am keeping my fingers crossed..... He has super fussiness when BF, and I eliminated all allergic proteins, and he was still gassy and uncomfortable. Neocate wrecked havoc, so it's ironic that this should work but we had no choice other than try....
Thanks everyone! Will hope for the best!
