My favorite salad dressig was discontinued and I am now buying various bottled dressing. Some are mustardy....one is mayo based. They're not as light as what I was using; I used to take my salad Tupperware home each week to wash it anyway...lately I'm not so into the shlepping (I leave it in the fridge so no resideue spoils.)

Think if I rinse and wipe it out, it's enough?

I think you should wash it so bad flavors don't develop not to mention food safety.

I say put it in a ziploc bag. Then bring a plastic fork and plate to eat it with. I don't think it's very sanitary the way you are doing it.

Oh, I def. bring my salads in a ziploc bag. I put them into my Tupperware and eat them each day like that.

I swab it out after every lunch and put it in the fridge for the next day. Thursday nights, I take it home to wash in the dishwasher.

Do you really think something can develop in the fridge, even mainly clean and stored very cold?

yes, I've had mould grow in my fridge on tomatoes etc.
listeria can definitely grown no matter how you swab it (unless u use those alcohol ones bc they're antibacterial)
u have to wash it hot and soapy e/ night!!!

Sarag why don't you give it a quick rinse with hot water then wipe it out...?
is there dishwashing soap t work (mine doesn't) and if I leave a container at work (say I'm not going straight home ect) I will wash it with hot water give it a quick rinse and put it back in the fridge... aside for the health issue involved its a bit Puke (maybe I'm not a big veggie eater in the first place...)
