My husband has been spraying deodarant every morning now since we got married and I breathe it in, during pregnancy, and also he does it when my kids are sleeping in our room (as babies). I always ask him not to spray right near me or let the kids breathe it in but he thinks I'm making a big deal over nothing. I always try to spray my deodarant in a different room or a ventilated area. Does anyone know if I'm making a big deal over nothing or is this really something that can be potentially dangerous? Bonus points if you can get me a legit article that points out the dangers so I can show my husband.... (if it truly is dangerous).

I haven't read the entire article pp posted, But I assume that was "excessive" amount in a very confined area.
I have spoken to a general doc about it a while ago when a sib of mine had wheezing issues. He said if people would know how bad it is they would stop using them... but since small amounts are not dangerous, the FDA hasn't out-ruled it yet. I try using roll on or bars for that reason. And I make Dh do his stuff in the bathroom with the ventilator on.
