Any ideas of good recipes that I can put in crockpot Erev Shabbos and serve for lunch? Pesach "cholent" never seems to go over that well here.

Stew/goulash - meat potatoes and carrots with either water and spices including lots of paprika or tomato sauce/ paste, water and spices
Chicken and potato /sweet potato and veggies

What kind of chicken would you use? (bone, not on bone). Does it fall apart? Thanks..
