I think I've finalized it. I'm making an e-book, a cookbook. A special diet friendly frugal cookbook, and will be divided by types of dish, with markings in the index next to each recipe title which special diets it caters to. Special diets included: gluten free, dairy free, egg free, corn free, vegetarian, vegan, refined sugar free, grain free, tee nut free, peanut free, paleo/primal, sugar free, nightshade free, fish free. All recipes are soy free, processed food free, shell fish free, kosher, and frugal, and most recipes will have alternatives to make it not allergy free if you don't need it.
It would have around 200 recipes...
Would you buy such an e-book? How much should I charge for such a thing?

I don't buy cookbooks because almost everything is available online for free. But it's a nice idea, for people who do!

I think this is great!
Why not look around on Amazon for cookbooks on Kindle to get a feel for pricing? I'd be willing to pay 15-20 dollars for an ebook, maybe up to 25 depending on content and how good the reviews are.

Most e-books are under 9.99 so I wouldn't sell it for more than that, especially if you want it to appeal to frugal folks.
I don't have dietary restrictions so I wouldn't buy it.

I don't buy cookbooks, but I do know that professional food photography (which is a must for any cookbook) is extremely expensive. Also I wonder if making one cookbook to deal with so many allergies/sensitivities means that none of the sections will really have enough recipes...

Seraph,
Would you consider creating a new blog featuring these recipes, and earning money via Adsense around the recipes and photos? You could also link to merchants who sell related products via your affiliate link: special gluten-free ingredients, measuring spoons, non-stick pans, etc...
It's impossible to predict which method would bring you more money; however this way would probably be simpler than constantly marketing your ebook.[sub]

I agree with above post about a blog. E-books I've seen are about $4.99 and don't have more than 20 recipes. You can put out an e-book for each diet to try and make more $$.
