I work in related services (for children in NY BOE) and I'm currently choosing between 2 agencies who can assign me caseloads. Since both agencies are saying they may each only find me a couple of cases, I want to "play it safe" and increase my chances for more cases. Is it legal to work for 2 agencies? (I'm signing on to each agency part time, not specific hours, with the option to turn down cases that are offered but I may not want.)
Has anyone ever dealt with this?

yes, I'm pretty sure you can. Just make sure your billing never overlaps. But look into it further as I dont know one hundred percent.

Just tell them to be up front but I don't think it's a problem. My son's PT works for multiple agencies.

Generally yes, but I'd ask each agency just to make sure they don't have a policy about that.

I have friends who do it. Each agency can not give them a full case load...but togetherthey areworking full time.
