Am I weird for thinking this word problem is a bit off?
From Yated Magazine's puzzle page P' V'eschanan (2 shabboses ago):
Yanky, Moishy, Ephrayim, and Mordechai are campers at Camp Sheves Achim. They're all in the same bungalow, but, sad to say, they're not enjoying each other's company.
Yanky won't speak to Mordechai, but Mordechai doesn't mind speaking to him. Moishy and Ephrayim are not on speaking terms, and neither are Yanky and Moishy. To top it all off, Mordechai and Ephrayim don't communicate with each other, either.
One day, their counselor, Ben Zion, was asked to give a message to all four boys. He could find only one of them, but it was the right one. He managed to get the message delivered to all four boys. Who was the fist one to get the message, directly from Ben Zion?

I understand the mental exercise, but I think it's funny (and sad) that the puzzle writer couldn't come up with a different scenario.

Your right. Why not find positive puzzles instead of negative ones?
