not everyday. once in a while. (sometimes once a week sometimes every two weeks). It doesn't have any rhyme or reason. It's only on her face. They go away. I don't know if it's an allergic reaction or if its a bite. I showed the ped once and he just gave me bactriban. she does have eczema - could it be that? she is very fair skinned and is extremely sensitive. I just wish I knew what it was. I just don't know what to do. Shouldn't my 4 yr old have clear skin?

Did the doctor give any indication of what it might be or just hands you cream without DISCUSSING it with you?!
If the bactroban is working, it likely is bacterial. Did he give instructions how long to apply it for? It might keep on coming back because you're not using it long enough.
When my 4 year old has impetigo, it doesn't look pus filled. When my baby caught it, it did.
