We just arrived for another year in Japan yesterday evening. Daniel has another Fulbright Fellowship to study the after-effects of the earthquake and resulting tsunami and nuclear power plant disaster. We will be writing our articles for Hamodia again, so keep an eye out for the first one probably next week. We love to have houseguests/orchim, so if you or someone you know needs lodging, etc in Tokyo, please PM us.

On a much more exciting note, the last bochur imprisoned in Japan is, iy"H, leaving Japan tomorrow! It is a very weird coinsidence as we were getting ready to leave Japan at the time of their arrest and now we are returning and he will, please G-d, be leaving.

Please daven for his quick and safe flight home and a successful reintegration back into frum society.

Yael

Definitely a wierd coincidence. Sometimes I wish we had a prophet who could tell us what these things mean!

Good luck on your move, so when I come to Japan can I visit?

What a beautiful post! Thanks for sharing the good news. Now that I have a place to stay in Tokyo I will seriously consider your offer. What do you do if 10,000 women come to visit you all at once?
Hope you enjoy your stay there. Under what name are your articles in Hamodia? Which section? What about?
