I was in a pretty major car accident. I had a concussion and have severe migraines from it, which the dr said could last another few weeks. I also got a bad burn from the seat belt and it really hurts every time I move my neck. (BH otherwise im ok) therefore, ive been taking off from work. I THOUGHT the car insurance would pay my lost wages.

another guy ran a stop sign and he was found at fault, so his insurance is held liable, not mine. but it seems in NJ theres the no fault law, where my car insurance will pay all medical expenses, no matter whose fault the crash was

so we were told that my car insurance should also pay my lost wages. however, when we spoke to them, they said that the law in NJ is that they pay up to $100 a week for only one week, and after that it goes to disability. come on! as my dh told them, $100 a week is a tip, not salary!!

anyone know how to get my full salary? my dh thought maybe we can sue the other guys insurance for the rest of my salary-anyone know?
(anonymous so as not to give away my username to anyone who knows me and this story irl)
