A really nice family is hosting us for a meal over Yom Tov, we haven't been to them in a while, but they've hosted us before. They are very nice people--a little older than us, they have married children, and don't really seem to "need anything."
I don't want to give them wine or chocolate (plus in my state you can't buy wine on Sunday and I can't get it tomorrow--thanks Blue Laws), and want my gift to be special and let them know how much I appreciate them having us.
Any suggestions?

You could bring a nice fruit basket or maybe ask if you can make the dessert.
