My baby is 8.5 months old. He doesn't sit on his own or crawl and only turns one way. Spoke to pediatrician today and he said I shud have him evaluated. So I'm wondering if anyone has this and did they have therapy?

As someone involved in the field, those do sound like it could be a delay. Getting your child evaluated is pretty simple in NYC, I recently had my son evaluated and didnt think he'd qualify, but they picked up on things that I didn't realize were part of a bigger problem. If he qualifies, it can only help him.

Had the same with my baby 2 years ago. I got approved for physical therapy and within few months we saw great results. he's turning 3 now with no delays at all B'H!
