My son has a cluster of stubborn warts on the bottom of his feet. Before having them treated by a dermatologist (who told us that the procedure MAY cause blisters etc.) I'd like to try one last ditch effort in using some sort of cream. Can anyone recommend something? Wart bandaids have not worked.

Disclaimer: I'm no dr and my results could be coincidental.
I had a cluster of plantars warts that were resistant to every treatment my dr and I tried for over three years. Likewise, my ds had a wart on his knee that always came back no matter what we tried. I read one day that zinc deficiency might conribute ti warts. I started taking zinc orally and rubbing zinc oxide on my ds' knee. Witin weeks, both wart problems were gone completely. FWIW.

Duct tape. Seriously. It may take weeks, but duct tape placed directly on warts can make them disappear. There's no guarantee that they won't recur, though.

Apply duofilm, then cover with duct tape. Seems to be working.

while also not a doctor, is now when I tell you that if plantar warts aren't treated correctly they can grow up into your leg? (told to me by my dermatologist, and then my mom's friend who was hospitalized for this)
