Healing
My hearts so numb
it doesn't feel
yet it holds my deepest
my deepest fears
and darkest secrets
and now its thawing
the ice is melting
the tears start pouring
the shame hits me
wakes me up suddenly
I'm sad
and so alone
Yet the pain I feel
is so sharp
so real
as if its happening
today, right now
all over again
The hole I dug
is getting deeper
and deeper
I'm falling back
the sadness is pulling me
Lower and lower
yet I feel a hand
it grabs mine
pulling me up
all I have to do
is take the first step
and look up
