Does anyone have experience with Dr. Kazahaya in CHOP? DD has a retracted eardrum and he recommended going for tubes first, which will hopefully solve the problem. I'm looking to hear from others who have used him and/or have experience with a retracted eardrum.

My child is hearing impaired; I've done all the research, and I use Dr. Kazahaya. He's the best. Professional, nice, easy to talk to, knows what he's doing. We had tubes done by him twice, they were both good experiences.

Thank you, 21young! I am so appreciative of your reply. I have surgery scheduled with him IY"H and I am so anxious, especially since he said she most likely will need to have tubes reinserted shortly after the first set, and then may need more invasive surgery if that is not successful. He seemed a bit young and jumpy to me at our first visit, hence my concern. Thank you for sharing your experience with me.

2 of my 4 children needed tubes as well- Dr. Kazahaya put them in for both, we B"H had very successful experiences both times (the are both old enough for the tubes to have fallen out). The surgery is done so quickly that it was over before I had even finished the first kapitle tehilim that I had started!
