My toddler fell head first from a chair. For how long should I try to keep her awake she shouldnt nap?

Sleeping is a natural thing to do after someone banging his head. Doctors now say to allow the child to sleep, just make sure that they respond to outside stimuli, like if you move her a little, she should respond.

Thanks world's best mom. It's been over an hour and wasnt sure if its ok if she naps. Yes she is responding and acting ok.

If she's acting fine within the first half hour, I was told child can go to sleep.

Oh the Irony....
Why is it that the only times my kids bonk their heads are when they are SO tired and SO need a nap / sleep?!
