Obviously. That wasn't my point.

I just thought that most Lubavitch women take the concept of Chitas very seriously.

Chitas is serious. There however is no horaah from the Rebbe specifically for women to say it.

I take the concept of chitas very seriously.
That doesn´t mean I get to do it every day.
If you do, you´re lucky - seriously, it means you´re putting a lot of effort in.

I didn't mention getting to do it every day, I mentioned the concept. ;-)

Chumash Tehillim Tanya.

For those of us who are not Lubavitch, can you please explain what kind of Sefer, Tanya is? Thanks.

Crayon: Ohhh, the CONcept! I guess it´s something for all of us to work on - although I´m doing good as of Yud Tes Kislev.

Amother: Tanya is the basic sefer of Chassidus, written by the first Chabad Rebbe, Rabbi Shneur Zalman of Liadi (also known as the Baal HaTanya). It explains how to know Hashem, how to come close to Him and basically what a Jew is here for. It includes a lot of kabbala and all the basic ideas of chassidus.
It is NOT easy and it´s ideal to study it with a Chassidus teacher. But today there are many annotated editions and translated to many languages. For Chitas, many do study it by reading the portion for the day, and then reading the corresponding pages in an English/Yiddish edition.
If anyone has a better explanation, or more to add, feel free.
