Ok, so I have a shaitel that when I get it done, the bangs have volume and look great, but after wearing it for a week or too, they start to get flat and very "wiggy" which I HATE. However, I have no idea how to fix it and I don't want to have to pay for a wash and set every 2 weeks, especially when the rest of the shaitel looks fine, it's just the bangs that need a pick me up.

Does anyone have any tricks or methods to either prevent this from happening or to restyle bangs without messing them up? I feel like when I do ANYTHING to them, they flatten and just look worse and I have no idea what to do.

They're off center-part sidebangs, if that helps, and not blunt.

Any ideas of what I could do to stretch it between washes?

Thanks!

You can tease them to give them some body, or just spritz with some water and blow dry with a round brush.

I watched a few youtube videos on styling side swept bangs and that has helped. I also bought dry shampoo to soak up some of the oils that can collect from hands and face.

Do you keep them in a velcro roller when you are not wearing?

One tip my sheitalmacher gave me is not to apply base etc on forehead ( it's covered anyway) and all it does is get the bangs oily since I've stopped all my bangs needs is a brushing between wears
