Blintz souffle is an easy entree too. tuna casserole

maybe start with french onion soup? or a different yummy pureed vegetable soup like squash?

Binah had a recipe chanuka time for a portabella mushroom and potato salad with parmesan cheese. I think it would look nice individually plated for a starter.

We had a dairy sheva brachot way back when. It was the best one!

I'd recommend:

Potato pasty (ex: borekas) with mushroom sauce
Some kind of pasta dish - like baked zitti, fettucini alfredo, penne-eggplant-parmesan
2-3 salads (I'd say greek salad, broccoli-craisin salad, Israeli salad)
Pumpkin pie

Dessert: hot brownies with dairy ice cream

Not a fan of salmon personally, but a lot of people are and I feel like it would be a good idea for a dairy sheva brachot.

My personal favorite appetizer for big meals is salmon salad - it's cheap, nice, and I find it easy to set up individual plates. Layer basic lettuce tomatoes cucumbers and then some pieces of salmon, breaded (for mamoshes) and baked. Drizzle dressing.
I love to start a meal with veggies/salad.

You can start with a nice cheese blintz and strawberry sauce.and some fresh kiwis and bluberries. Looks very pretty and you can freeze them ready and just reheat them right before!
With any kind of pureed soup or onion soup
and main course: choice of pasta or salamon with some easy sides.

Good Luck

I think the appetizer would really depend on what you are serving for the main course. Salmon with salad or salmon over angel hair pasta is great, but not if you're serving fish as the main.

I love this apple pie - http://abcnews.go.com/GMA/recipe?id=6949829, with ice cream for dessert. Fancy cheesecakes work nicely also.

What about the potato/ cheese borekas as PP said? You could serve it on a bed of salad greens.

Mini veggie egg rolls served with plated greens are nice too, with a little plastic shot glass of sweet chilli sauce/ duck sauce.

You could also do a melon or pineapple fruit 'boat'

French onion soup with cheese crouton on top (I always cheat and use these )

I was at a cooking demonstration where she did a really nice starter,
Cheese bowl filled with salad

The cheese bowl was made by heating a frying pan. She then added grated cheese and cooked until one side was crispy. Turned the pan onto a glass, shaped the cheese around the glass into a bowl. Let it cool.
Fill with your favourite lettuce salad.
Crunchy, easy and lighter than a dough bowl.
