Just wondering:
It doesn't seem like the wife is sitting shiva
Since when does a Gabbai walk the streets with the Rabbi's wife?
I think only the Gabbai looks somewhat authentic...
What happened to all the baby carriages and people they filmed in Boro Park?
Interesting to see the turn around time for shows, about a month...

I thought it was ridiculous.
She didn't seem to be sitting shiva. Why would she constantly be with her husband's gabbai? Didn't seem realistic. More likely she would have been with other women.
they seemed to promote the whole "women's discrimination" angle, like excuse me why would a woman be allowed into an undressed men's shvitz in that type of situation?
they also seemed to promote the whole "escape" angle with that cop guy who was "ex-hasidish"
And really...while I"m not naive...the Rebbe's son would have an affair like that with a shiksa? To the point where she thought he might move in with her? Oh please come on.
Ugh. reminds me why I don't tend to watch this stuff

the whole thing was like someone else's "fantasy" projected onto a chasidish backdrop
