I just got a call from a guy posing as a microsoft rep informing me that I have viruses and hackers on my computer being reported to them through error messages and he is going to walk me through getting rid of them! Luckily I realized that he is a hacker and later confirmed online that this is a common scam. Just letting everyone know to beware!!

I once got a call from my credit card company that sounded a bit off to me, so I hung up on them and called the 800 number on my card. The guy that answered had a chuckle about it, but said it was the right thing to do (The call was actually legit...)
