Give a few details about them, please; no, nothing personal. Just, do they understand Hebrew or Yiddish; do you want something lighthearted or just heartfelt wishes for a better year, etc? What is the tone you have in mind?

And why does it have to rhyme?

It is nicer when it rhymes.
Yiddish or English.

At this time of nissim
May you have your own broche
A freilichen purim
From our ganze mishpoche.

Every day when I wake up
I plan what to give the kids for their sup
I scrub all the dishes and clean out the sink
I change all the linens and put on my mink
I fix up my shatel and get on the phone
The bank managers know to leave me alone
I manage to send the kiddies to school
Have a martini and sit by the pool
I make sure to find time to file my nails
and head off for downtown to look for the sales
But despite what I do in my busiest day
There’s nothing I like more than coming your way

You think so? I davka don't. It sounds more sincere when it's just plain. Would you rather get this:

A horrible year has just ended,
Amazing you even survived.
Who knows what Hashem has intended,
be glad that you're even alive.

or this:

Dear Mr. & Mrs. Gehaktetzurris,

Uncle Mottie and I want to wish you a Freylachn Purim and hope that this year, when you say "layehudim hoyso oroh vesimchoh vesosson," it will be true not only of the Yidden of Shushan but of also of you and your mishpochoh. Looking forward to only good news from you all.
