My twenty month-old son has an odd diaper rash. It looks like a bunch of pus filled pimples. It's been for a bit, but it's only in the last day or so that it's really developed. I don't usually use a cream and we're using cloth. We're out of town at the moment, but I'm probably going to call the doctor Monday if it doesn't clear up.

Is it yeast? If so a great natural remedy is equal parts extra virgin olive oil and tea tree oil. But make sure it's yeast first. Hatzlacha

Thanks for the link. Rachelleah, I don't think it's yeast, but I have no experience, so I'm not sure. Do you know where would be a good spot to look for tea tree oil?

I would be a bit nervous to put tea tree oil- doesnt that burn a little? I think you might need a prescription cream if otc ones dont work.
also, its good to air it out if you can, let him go without diapers, don't put soap on it.

I would take him to the Dr. ASAP it sounds to me like STaph or MRSA.
Don't get nervous- we have been there- please don't wait till after shabbos
