Already planning for sefira and want to buy myself an acapella CD. I don't want rock music or rap (as I heard on the mostly music preview of AKA Pella 5). What's your opinion of the best one out there?

Both Maccabeats albums. They are in a different league altogether.
I am very picky about my a cappella music. Most is so bad that I suffer more by hearing it than by just not listening to music. And it has to really have no musical instruments. And not be too rocky or modern, but Maccabeats are cool yet I get a sincerely frum feeling.
Lev Tahor Volume 1 is pretty good.
Shabbosdige Oitzros has a few tolerable selections.
Listen to music samples from each album on www.mostlymusic.com.
