Every time I put ds on his tummy he cries and spits up. Has anyone else seen this?

Maybe the pressure that is put on his stomache is making him spit up. How long after he eats are you putting him down?

Sometimes it is soon after eating and sometimes it's a while after.

How old is he, maybe his stomache is just sensitive and wait a bit longer to put him on his tummy.

Does he spit up any other times? Maybe wait a bit longer after he eats before you put him on his tummy. But don't stop trying (unless the dr tells you). Tummy time is so important & a lot of babies don't get it now.

try raising his chest using a pillow or towel. so he is a little bit more vertical. yet still horizontal enough that he has to work on his neck muscles.

I had that too, ds spit up so much on his tummy
I only put him on his tummy starting at 2 1/2 months cuz he spit up so much when he was on his tummy til then that it was crazy.
sometimes their tummy did not digest yet... develop yet etc.
dont worry
