My neighbor had bed bugs and brought a company to do the extermination. Now I found 2 bugs in my house.
So I have to do the extermination here too.
anyone had good experience with a company in brooklyn?
can you give a range of prices?
did they give a guaranty?
any info is appreciated
TIA

Do you know for sure that the bugs you found were bed bugs?
Each exterminator has a different policy.
A few names that I have heard are:
Metro pest
Eco pest
Global pest control.
There is a new treatment out there that uses heat and not chemicals. It seems it works better and you don't have to prepare as much. like cleaning out closets, and doing tons of laundry.
Therma Rid is one of the places that use heat to get rid if bed bugs
The #is 1877-987-7013
They also have a dog that could check your house to find out where the bed bugs are coming from.
I also have helped many people get rid of bed bugs without using an exterminator at all.
If you want any more onfo just ask.

Thank you
I have some questions:
what is the cost?
do things get ruined with the heat?
how many times it has to be done?
do you have a first hand experience with them?

Quality Exterminating is very good! 718 - quality (782-5489)
price depends on how big the house is.
heat treatment is very good, less work but very expensive. chemical treatment 2 times, heat treatment I think once.
they also do bedbug inspection if u r not sure if its bedbugs.
edited to add: yes there is a gaurantee

heat treatment is only once. very little preperation, but yes very expensive.
I think I heard 1000 dollars a room but it does depend on size.
also they have the dog so they only have to treat the room that has the problem.
it does not ruin anything as far as I know.
I do not have first hand experience with this type of treatment.

for heat treatment all you need to do is remove anything that can melt or get ruined from the heat, otherwise you need to empty closets and wash all clothing and put in bags etc. it is a big job.
