I have an almost full open can of tomato sauce. I am looking for a sauce to make for my shabbos chicken. I usually use bbq sauce or duck sauce or make honey mustard etc, pour it over 2 bottoms and bake for 1.5-2 hrs.
any ideas for a sauce that I can use tomato sauce in?
thanks!

I don't know if I'm too late, but I have a recipe for tomato wine chicken with tomato sauce that's really good:
Tomato-Wine Chicken
• 6 chicken quarters
• 8 oz. tomato sauce- 226 g.
• 4 cloves garlic
• 1 cup sweet red wine
• ½ cup brown sugar
• Salt and pepper
Pour sauce over chicken. Bake covered @ 350 for 2 hours.
