I made 2 lots of challa doughs today and by the time the last challas got to the oven they had over risen and taste funny. is it ok to eat? serve to guests?

it should be fine tho it will taste different then usual. I recently let some challa rise to long and we liked it better and decided to do it from now on. it was much airier.
