ever wonder what to do with the leftover breadcrumbs/flour & eggs when frying things like fish or chicken ... I feel sorry for them so I roll them up & fry them too ... it's a little extra treat to nibble on - sort of like felafel ballies

My mother used to do that all the time. I used to, but my kids never ate it, so I stopped. They're called bubala's. Actually in the purple spice and spirit there's a recipe with them in tomato sauce.
