Hosp admin. name on birth certificate instead of docs name

I was just going through my daughter's birth certificate and I noticed tthat the name of the doctor was missing, instead there was the name of the ATTENDANT at delivery and it is a hospital admin. no doctors name...
I always thought the name of the doctor who delivered the baby is onthe certificate. at least that is how it is on my birth certificate...
I thought it ess very weird.
