My brother in law is getting barmitzva in the summer and I'm due a few weeks before Iy"H. Any Ideas of what to wear? For shabbos and reception. Thanx

click on the top of page for maternity clothes and simcha wear some nice stuff or rent a nice outfit/dress anything comfortable.

She's due a few weeks before the big day. She wont want maternity clothes unles she has gained that much weight to still fit into it. My friend's BIL got married 2 weeks after she had a baby. She had gained a lot but bought a regular gown, a bunch of sizes bigger than she would usually wear.

anything in black with nice jewelery to accesorize. even a scarf around your neck. I used to do that.

I also had a simcha then and I wore not maternity black top with a beautiful short skirt.
wear nice jewlery and a shaitel and your set.
dont wear maternity it makes you look bigger than you are Smile

I had something made in Generations in BP. It was 2 years ago, for my brother's wedding. I was in my 9th month then, and got a long silken wool black skirt with fishtails. I had a black shell under a lace top. I think Hindy's might also make things for people.
