I like words ... enough to write down the interesting ones ... I almost wanted to start a dictionary for one particular poster - but I thought it might annoy her that I might think of her as altiloquent

word: boosh (from the Hebrew boosha, embarrassment).
use: * On a sunny July day, I left the nail salon with a pink mani/pedi. I then proceeded to the grocery store on my way home. As I was walking down an aisle at the store, an employee smiled at me and said "Muy caliente" to which I replied (thinking I was all THAT in pink) "Gracias". He gave me a quizzical look and said "I was talking about the weather". *** What A boosh!

boosh is THE new word now, my teenaged nieces all say it the whole day, & I caught myself saying it too when I was booshed!!
