Can everyone post a menu for a chanuka party?

I would like to freeze as much as possible, plus I'm looking for some ideas Smile

make it simple, jsut put out bowls of oil and chunks of cheese.

don't like that?

make tons of potato latkes and buy/make doughnuts. make sure to have some sour cream and applesauce for the latkes. I like to keep things simple.

Funny Mummiedearest.

I'm planning a party too with a few families and was thinking latkes (a few kinds -potato, sweet potato and maybe zucchini?) Doughnuts (homemade perhaps), maybe onion soup with melted cheese? Salad too. Maybe that is enough? If I can, I'd like to make sugar cookies with the kids in chanukah shapes and freeze them early enough.

One year I made zucchini latkes, onion latkes and tomato latkes and served it with a choice of garlic and dill yogurt and cucumber and dill yogurt.

The main course was baked, stuffed St. Peter's fish and fettucini tossed with fried eggplant and whole, roasted garlic cloves.

It was actually all really easy to make.

I'll try and post recipes later.

Did you ever see, Bubby's Boarding House? The "bad" guy insists we eat tomato latkes, not potato. He makes them and nobody like them, including him. I never even heard of tomato latkes.

We make for dessert, snowballs. It's milichig and deep fried...yummy! I also have made before sopaipillas. It's also fried, but it has a tiny amount of sugar and no eggs.

Yo'ma-
what are these sopaipillas you're referring to? I have been looking for a vegan latke since my hubby can't have eggs. Is this a potato recipe or something?
