I am looking for new ideas for a healthy carb.

I usually make brown rice or WW couscous. I need some more ideas. It needs to be either multi grain, Whole Wheat or Whole Grain, basically nothing white. Also no sugar so I can't do sweet potatoes.

My typical dinner is:

Soup
Salad or cooked green (asparagus, green beans, broccoli, cauliflower)
Main (chicken, meat, hamburgers, hot dogs, steak, salmon)
Healthy Carb (brown rice, WW couscous)

wheat berries
kasha (kids like it with milk, like cereal)
potatoes in moderation

How is wheat berries prepared? I wonder if DH would eat it. I can barely get him to eat brown rice.

Just curious why no sweet potatoes on a whole grains/no sugar diet. I never heard of that. Whole grains turn into glucose in the bloodstream as well so how are sweet potatoes a problem?

also, you have plenty of options if you'll eat whole wheat - ww pasta, ww rolls, ww pitas...
