Mamaroo is absolutely out if you have other small children around. The way the base works little fingers can very easily get caught and smashed in it. People swear by it though. We borrowed it from a friend and have it back two days later because it was no good with other kids around.
The cradle swing (the snugabunny is one style) is pretty good our kids liked it (the ones that likes swings)

I have the snugabunny and I love it!! My baby lived in it for 6 months. It was such a lifesaver!

No experience with the mamaroo, but love the snugabunny!
Both my kids loved it, and ds2 only took his daytime naps in it for at least 5 months!

I had the mamaroo for my last child. I dunno, he was never particularly happy in it.. But then it could be my kids cuz my older one wasn't so happy in a borrowed swing we had for him either.. Its def a cool piece, but since it got ruined by sandy I won't be buying it again.. Next time Iyh il prob buy something that doesn't use any technology...

I like the mamaroo alot. It saves a ton of space in a smallish apartment.
