Can I put a corelle dish in the oven? I'd like to make a bowl out of a tortilla wrap and its my only option. Unless you creative moms have any other ideas.

they say not to ... but you can use pyrex

you can also use a cupcake tin upside bottom ... put the tortillas & voila [I think possibly if they're small if not a regular size baking tin that would be similar in size to the size tortilla bowl you want]

next idea ... use a ball of aluminum paper ... that might work ... spray some oil on it so the tortilla doesn't stick

I use corelle dishes in the oven to keep food warm. Don't know about using it on higher temp for baking.

Can I form it with toothpicks? Will it hold?

Thanks greenfire!
This one I tried with silver foil and toothpicks

And this one I tried with a plate (no toothpicks) after you posted the link

They're both ok but not identical...hmmm

The second one looked prettier when displayed. But I used them both. I served cold cut salad in it. All eaten up. 'Twas delicious!
