We bought two dark brown faux leather couches a year ago second hand. When we bought them, they looked gorgeous. Well, like most things that are in our house with little kids for longer than an hour, they are no peeling and they dont look very nice at all. Is there any way to repair the leather or do we need to cover them or get new couches?

If they started peeling then most likely they will continue to peel in more places. Just give it some time. Sad
Buy slipcovers. Or throw a fur throw over them. They'll never be the same. Sad

That's what happened to ours and it didn't stop so our couch had a new look. Now we have a real leather one. The peeling was one of the reasons we got rid of it.

We asked a furniture restorer if they could fix our faux leather couch and the guys told us that fake leather can not be fixed. We have two lovely couches, that we love, that have big rips. We tried duct tape. It lasted until someone sat down on the couch. There is no way to fix them.

We bought new leather couches and I do hope they last a very very long time.

Don't do that!! We duct taped our couch. It worked for a few days until the tape started peeling and coming up and staining the clothes of whoever sat on it.

I saw this leather repair kit in Amazon andi want sure if it would work for this or just for some fading. It doesn't have holes, just peeling

But you said your couch is fake leather, it wont work on your couch, it would only work on real leather.
