I've been interested in photography for a while and I would like to hear from professionals what they think of my work . I'm by no means a professional photographer I'm basically doing it as a hobby and charging a very small amount. lately requests are pouring in since the chain stores in the area have all closed down, and pple in my town do not spend much on photography.

Basically what I wanted was to share a few recent photos and get honest feedback as to what I need to work on/improve. If Someone would be willing, please pm me and I'll share.

If requests are pouring in, then you're obviously doing something right!
Why don't you charge a small fee, get some customers, and have them fill out a survey after they get the photos.
Customers are great teachers!

I think the requests are pouring in cause its nearly free!!. Currently I'm not advertising cause I don't know if I'm good enough. I like the survey idea, I like it even better when the customers return for second or third time. That gives me a little hint that they were happy with their pics.

I'm a member of ILP. Its a great site I basically learned everything there but I dont feel comfortable asking for cc. They're gonna tear me apart....I'll check out the site u mentioned.

Thephotoforum is not the place to go if all you want are pats on the back, but unless you respond to critique with hostility they won't rip you apart. My photography is pretty lousy and I've gotten gentle ansd constructive criticism there.
