Looking for a mainstream frum schools (not necessarily yeshivish)
Would appreciate it if anyone has any info on Yeshiva Rav Isacsohn, Yavneh, Or Eliyahu, Beis Yaakov, Mesivta Birkas Yitzchak and Ner Aryeh.
How do they differ, how yeshivish are they considered?
Thanks.

I grew up in LA but haven't lived there in a while. I do visit my parents sometimes so I still have a feeling on what is going on. Here us my take on the schools:
Yeshiva Rav Isacsohn, - When I was growing up, this was the mainstream school here all the frum people went. I had kids in my class who were chasidish, and some whose mothers did not cover their hair. It was a big mix.
Yavneh, - A little more Left then Toras Emes, Classes were separate, however recess was not.
Or Eliyahu, - A bit more to the left then that
Beis Yaakov, - This was the mainstream girls high school. Basically everyone from Toras Emes (Yeshiva Rav Isachson) went there. There were some girls from Or Eliyahu and Yavneh there
Mesivta Birkas Yitzchak - If this is the school that is normally referred to as "The Mesivita" then it is more yeshivish, it originally started as part of the Cheder (which originally chasidish) but both the mesivta and the cheder became more of a school where people sent their kids to if they didnt want the kids hearing about movies, etc... Even if they were not chasidish.
and Ner Aryeh. - Im not familiar with this one

I live in LA.
Toras emes. Yeshivas. Everybody covers their hair.
Yavneh. More modern but it is getting frumer. Some don't cover their hair but everybody shomer Shabbos.
Ohr eliahu In between the two above. A lot of baalei teshuva.

Yavneh and ohr eliahu have much more extra caricular stuff than Toras emes.

Bais yaakov. The only yeshivas girls highschool in LA.
Mesivta bitkas itzchak. Mby. Basically continuation of ohr eliyahu and some Yavneh and Toras emes. It's yeshivas but to the left.
Yeshiva Gedola. Yeshivash continuation of Toras emes basically.

There are a lot of other modern schools and one more chasidik frumer track of schools.
