What rider toy would an 18 month old enjoy?
I thought the playschool one with the bouncing ball under the seat would be good but the amazon reviews say it's really for a 12 month old. I'm looking for something that doesn't have a zillion toys or lights or music that can't be turned off...just a nice toy to ride. I'm guessing at this age it's still supposed to be the kind that's pushed with feet on the floor rather than pedals but if I'm wrong please let me know. One more note it should work on hardwood and a rug. Ty!

Cozy coupe is a classic and there's a reason it's been around so long! I seriously think it's my most popular toy among kids ages 18 months to like 10 years or something. Really.
I have a pretty small home with hardwood and it works fine. They spend a lot of time getting in and out and turning the key and making a whole story out of it, they don't need a ton of room to drive.
I have the playschool one with the ball and also another one and they are definitely more suitable for younger toddlers. The cozy coupe will grow with him.
