I've been wanting to get a crock pot in along time just don't know which brand type is good and reliable. I need it basically for chulent. They vary so much in price range that I don't know which to look at.
Ask a store? They will either seek to sell n expensive kind to make money or a non popular one cuz they wanna get rid of it.
I would appreciate I'm a mother crock pot lover's expertise. TIA.

What size are you looking for? 4 quart, 5, 6?

The Rival Smartpot has the virtue of turning itself down after a few hours. Some of them just stay on the setting you put them on; they can't turn themselves down later.

If you are going to leave it on all Shabbos, a frum store would be a good place to talk about that, they have experience with that.

Sure, there are different models on the market for different sizes Smile
Go with an oval so you can use it for dinners and lay things out nicely. Manual knob so it's good for shabbos.
Hamilton Beach, Rival, Crockpot make great crocks.
This is great
